Paeroa and Waihi WTPs Upgrade - Main Contract

⁠⁠⁠Hauraki District Council is upgrading the Paeroa and Waihi Water Treatment Plants (WTP) to meet increased water demand and also to comply with the Drinking Water Standards of New Zealand 2005 (revised 2008). The current upgrade, for which this Main Contract is part of, is to increase the WTP throughput capacity to 6,000m3/day for Paeroa and 4,000m3/day for Waihi.

The basis of the upgrade is the installation of a membrane package plant which is to be supplied by the Membrane Contractor. The contract for the membrane package has already been let to Mason Engineers. The Membrane Contractor is referred to as the "Membrane Contractor" throughout this document.

This Contract is the Main Contract for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Upgrade for Paeroa and Waihi WTPs which will construct the balance of plant in conjunction with the Membrane Contractor.
