The Department of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander and Multicultural Affairs, hereby requests Expressions of Interest (EOI) from contractors accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) to partner with the Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council for the construction of the Rodeo Ground subdivision project on Palm Island. Works comprise the construction of a 59 lot subdivision, including bulk earthworks, roadways, stormwater services, water and sewer services, electrical and communication services, and landscaping to enable the future housing works package to be delivered.

A compulsory site inspection and project briefing will be held on Palm Island at time to be advised. All transport and disbursements will be at the tenderers expense. EOI documentation can be obtained from the project manager below. Tenderers are required to confirm their expression of interest with the project manager by no later than 2:00pm, Wednesday, 30 April 2014.
