Standing Offer Arrangement for Purchase of Debt Collection Services

⁠⁠⁠* Provide debtor collection services for local, interstate and international debtors of West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS).
* Ensure debtors are treated respectfully and their details are maintained confidentially.
* Make contact with debtors to collect outstanding debts.
* Negotiate with debtors regarding outstanding accounts including payment plans.
* Have a current working knowledge or ability to become familiar with legislation affecting mental health consumers and approach debt collection in keeping with relevant legislation, policies and practices.
* Liaise and take direction from nominated WMHHS staff prior to engaging mental health consumers.
* Arrange and manage issuing of legal proceedings and undertaking further uncontested legal action.
* Vendor to cover own indemnity insurance against all damages sustained or arising from or in connection with the provision of debt collection services.
* Provide collected funds to WMHHS on a monthly basis less agreed commission for this service.
