Building the Capacity of Organisations to Respond to Consumer Demand Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Tender ID: 180728
Tender Details
Tender Description
The department is seeking offers from suitably qualified suppliers to develop and implement innovative, practical approaches to build the capacity of organisations to deliver disability supports in the consumer-driven market under the NDIS.
Approaches must be based on analysis of the current capacity and development needs of the sector, or part of the sector targeted by the approach, and generate resources which can continue to be used by providers to build their understanding of and capacity to respond to the changing pattern of consumer demand.
Offerors are invited to submit proposals for approaches which target the disability sector as a whole, or approaches targeting identified specific types of providers (for example, small to medium providers, family-run providers, or those service providers managed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations).
The proposed approach and resources should enable existing providers to adapt and be ready to operate in the new consumer-driven environment under the NDIS, and be suitable for use by organisations wishing to enter the market.
The Department may select an offer or combination of offers which offer the broadest coverage of the sector.
