You are invited to submit a tender to provide Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) services for The Science Place to be constructed on James Cook University's (JCU) Townsville Campus. The ICA will be contracted direct to JCU.
The ICA's primary role will be to ensure that the Building Services systems are comprehensively commissioned and handed over to JCU's Estate Office and that all systems operate at optimal design performance. JCU are committed to commission this facility to ensure all systems are well designed, complete and functioning properly upon occupation and beyond. The project is also seeking LEED and Green star ratings (as Section 2.5 above) and the ICA should provide suitable documentation to achieve these requirements and compliance.
The scope of the ICA's services will include the submission of a Reverse Brief; Review of the design; Manage, oversee, control, coordinate and execute the commissioning of the Building's Services systems including Electrical, HVAC, BMS / EMS Systems, Hydraulic, Wet Fire, Lifts, IT and Communication, AV systems and Irrigation services; and ensure all training and documentation is received and acceptable to JCU.
