Tender Description

The Western Australian Tourism Commission (Tourism Western Australia) is a statutory authority under the portfolio of the Minister for Tourism and is governed by a Board of Commissioners. As the State’s tourism strategy champion, Tourism Western Australia (Tourism WA) owns the key tourism functions of:

* Marketing Western Australia as a tourism destination;
* Sponsoring major international and home grown events that attract visitation to and around Western Australia; and
* Facilitating major tourism infrastructure and investment.

Tourism WA’s marketing role is to accelerate the growth in the economic value of tourism for Western Australia, towards the 2020 goal of doubling the value of tourism to $12 billion. The key functions are to:

* Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to build awareness and desire to visit Western Australia.
* Increase visitation, yield and dispersal from target markets.
* Provide meaningful and actionable research to guide strategies and actions of the Western Australian tourism industry.
* Communicate effectively with industry, government and the people of Western Australia.
* Work collaboratively with industry to drive economic outcomes.

Tourism WA is seeking to establish a contract for the provision of Strategic Planning and Creative Services, Digital and Event / Experiential Marketing Services.

This Request is seeking to appoint either a fully integrated agency or specialist agencies, in each specialist service category, in a multi-agency model to provide the following marketing services:

1) Strategic Planning and Creative Services;
2) Digital Marketing Services; and
3) Event / Experiential Marketing Services.

Respondents are required to nominate the services they will submit an offer against.

This is not a panel contract. Tourism WA will only appoint one supplier per service category in the event that a multi-agency model is adopted.
