Hervey Bay Airport Passenger and Baggage Screening

⁠⁠⁠Council is inviting Tenders for one or more of the following, required to be implemented at the Hervey Bay Airport as of 1 September 2014:

a) the provision of Screening Authority Services only
b) the provision of Passenger & Baggage Screening Operations only
c) the supply, installation, maintenance and repair/replacement of passenger and carry-on baggage screening equipment only (checked baggage screening equipment is not included)
d) the provision of Screening Authority Services and Passenger & Baggage Screening Operations only
e) all of the above

Relevant details, as well as Tender forms, which must be completed and returned with all Tenders, can be obtained during business hours from Council's Administration offices at 77 Tavistock Street, Hervey Bay and/or 431 Kent Street, Maryborough, or by calling 1300 79 49 29.

Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, clearly marked "HERVEY BAY AIRPORT - PASSENGER & BAGGAGE SCREENING – CORP 6 – 13/14" and be lodged in the tender box at 77 Tavistock Street, Torquay by no later than 11am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Thursday 24 January 2014.

Tenderers should note that the lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted, and that pursuant to the Local Government Act, Council might later invite all Tenderers to change their Tender.
