Northern Beaches Cedar Road Water Mains – Trenchless Works

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council Water & Waste hereby invites tenders for the construction works associated with the installation of a segment of the Northern Beaches Trunk Water Main and Cedar Road Water Mains to be constructed by means of Trenchless Technology (directional drilling).

The scope of works will be limited to the directional drilling components of the Northern Beaches Trunk Water Main and the Cedar Road Water Mains, as a separate early works contract for these projects, and shall include all ancillary works associated with the directional drilling works.

The contractor shall be required to prepare and verify a design solution for the installation of the water mains as part of the D&C contract works.

Tender documents are only available upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $200.00 (inc. GST). After payment has been completed a receipt will be sent to your nominated email address, please forward this receipt to Kayla Bury at k.bury@cairns.qld.gov.au along with the below information:

Tenders are to be in a sealed envelope and endorsed "Contract No. 75392 – Northern Beaches & Cedar Road Water Mains – Trenchless Works" and shall be addressed to the undersigned and 2 hard copies lodged, posted or delivered by a recognised courier having a direct delivery service to the Council Chambers, 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns, so as to be received in the Tender Box before the closing time of 4.30pm on Wednesday 22nd January 2014. Tenders will not be opened publicly.

The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
