The Australian Government has committed to establishing the Cyber ‘Rapid Assistance for Pacific Incidents and Disasters (RAPID)' team, led by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) with representatives from a range of government agencies and the private sector. This team will help respond to significant cyber crises and incidents as they happen in the Pacific, when Pacific governments request assistance. The team will help contain the spread and impact of cyber incidents and restore critical services and infrastructure.
This request seeks to engage experienced private sector providers who have the capability to deploy as part of the Australian Government Cyber RAPID Team to deliver incident response support and training to Pacific island countries.
