Tender Description

Council has various areas of vacant land available for lease. Individuals wishing to lease any of the available areas are invited to complete an Offer of Lease Submission Form. Lease periods of 5 years will be offered (unless otherwise stated) commencing from 1 July 2024.

Whilst offers are being invited, there is a minimum amount Council must receive for each area of land available. This minimum fee is based on Councils current fees and charges and rental market assessments.

Please note that the submitted offer, if accepted will form the Lease fee, with an annual increase on 1 July each year based on the previous quarter in line with the movement of CPI.

A lease preparation fee of $339.00 incl GST which is non-refundable will be charged to the successful applicant.

The following areas are available for lease.

Area 225 – Eden Street Kempsey (approx. 5.45 ha)

Submissions

It is expected that prior to submitting an offer, individuals familiarize themselves with the area of land that they are making a submission on and fully satisfy themselves of its suitability for their intended purpose. Please note that Council may not be able to supply accurate details, if any, of the existence, extent and/or condition of any fencing or other fixtures on the property. Further to this, installation and maintenance of fencing, active control of noxious weeds and control of stock on the leased area will be the responsibility of the Lessee.

Submissions will not be accepted if the Offer for Lease Submission Form is not completed in full.
