Tender Description

City of Newcastle (CN) seeks submissions from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to provide materials and services associated with the removal and reinstatement of failed, damaged or aged flexible pavement (Heavy Patching) within the Newcastle LGA on an as required basis during the period 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026. Subject to operational needs and service provider performance, CN may elect to extend the agreement(s) for two additional periods of 1 year each.

The general requirements include,

- Provision for traffic control.

- Excavation of failed pavement in varying depths.

- Excavation and foundation preparation of the heavy patch

- Removal and disposal of excavated material to a facility licensed by the EPA.

- Supply, delivery and placing of heavy patching materials to match surrounding road surface levels.

- Testing to demonstrate compliance with specified requirements

Note that no Pre-Tender meeting will be held.

CN may appoint multiple suitable service providers to a panel so as to accommodate operational needs.
