Tender Description

Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP) is a $320m program of infrastructure works to improve the environmental watering of high valued floodplains along the River Murray in Victoria.

The projects involve using engineering works such as regulators and pump stations to deliver water efficiently to the floodplains. The delivery of water aims to restore and protect the ecological health of these landscapes. The works will allow environmental water to be reliably introduced to the floodplains at a frequency, duration, and time of year aligned to natural flow regimes, providing drought refuge, and building climate change resilience in these critical landscapes.

Nine sites of particularly high-ecological value have been identified through extensive feasibility studies and form the scope of work for the VMFRP program. All nine projects form part of the final package of supply measures agreed by the Murray Darling Basin Ministerial Council in 2017.

Express interest for any opportunities that may arise for this project.
